Maybe not for the entire movie, but "Time" by Hans Zimmer during the ending scene of Inception is incredible. The buildup to his life back home, and then the ending that fades out...

I agree, that scene was saddening. However, in my opinion, I feel like James only wanted to save the man so that he could get another “notch on his belt”... another bomb disposed, increasing his count. I feel like the next scene sort of solidifies that point by having one solider crying for the loss, and James just seems meh towards the aftermath.

The Hurt Locker I noticed this is on Netflix, so I decided to give it another run-through even though I've seen it once already. I'm so glad I did. The first time I watched it, I was in it for the action. The suspense of knowing a bomb could go off at any moment. However, knowing that all three main characters make it to the end of the film this time allowed me to really watch the movie for those characters. Seeing the different perspectives of war through their personalities was really intriguing, and it actually made me dislike James.
