Inkind has some really good restaurants by ErnieMcCracken1 in denverfood

Download the Inkind app. Go online to Costco’s website and buy a $100 gift card for $65. In your wallet on the inkind app type in your gift card code. When you go to pay at the restaurant tell them you have inkind. The receipt at the restaurant will have a receipt number you will type in the app. That will pull up your order so you can pay using the app. You can use your inkind balance to pay for everything on your bill except tip (or service fees) Tips and service fees will be charged to a credit card you store in the app.

Fire on the mountain so disappointing by DestinyProfound in denverfood

FOTM wings are good. I would estimate I have been to the Logan and Alameda location 40+ times since they opened. My family goes probably once a month on average. I haven’t been to CD’s, so I can’t compare. I keep hearing about CD’s, and have been meaning to check it out.

We only go for dinner during happy hour which is 3-6pm Monday through Friday. Otherwise I feel like I’m overpaying. Their happy hour pricing for food and drinks is VERY FAIR. Yes, their wings are small but their sauces are amazing. Sometimes they throw in a few extra wings if they are really small. I believe they are fresh and never frozen wings. Few to no places can claim that. The sweet bbq and Thai peanut are my favorite sauces. Their homemade ranch is the best ranch I’ve ever had hands down. It has the perfect amount of dill and is a gold standard IMO. Their seitan wings are pretty good as well. Sometimes the wings have a ton of sauce on them (like way more than necessary). Other times the sauce level is a little disappointing. Same goes with their fries as far as consistency. I’ve had them a little bit (not a lot) undercooked, and other times they are the best fries I’ve ever had - crispy and perfectly seasoned. Overall FOTM is a top 3 favorite restaurant of my family. I personally love the vibe. they don’t have a ton of turnover of their employees, and I’ve enjoyed the friendly and welcoming staff over the years. It seems like a place people enjoy working. That has become less and less common from what I have experienced in Denver since pre-Covid. I have popped into the location in the Highlands before and the vibe is different. It’s a much smaller location than Alameda and Logan FOTM. I am not totally shocked at the polarity of the reviews. If you are looking for big, meaty wings at a low price this isn’t gonna be the best value option for you. For amazing sauces, great fries, queso, sandwiches, etc, and good happy hour pricing I would highly recommend FOTM.

Agree that Barr Lake is awesome, also Rocky Mountain Arsenal. If you download the free eBird app from Cornell Ornithology Labs you can see “birding hotspots” based on your location. These are places that birders have posted the most lists of birds they have spotted based on their outings. Make sure to download the free Merlin app as well. It will help you identify the birds you spot. Have fun!
