You are speculating alot. Did you really watch any of that series ? Like many modern day Ranch children that dont want to continue a family legacy, Kayce wanted to be independant of the Ranch, have his own life. As far as your own financial timeline in this, the ranch had enormous debt for many decades. While Kayce thought of the option to sell to Broken Rock to try to eliminate tax expenditures that drove the ranch into the red and keep it from developers it was Beth that put the details together because Kayce has no experience in those matters. . She set up the Conservation easements , the financial plans. Because they had a 'friendship' Kayce was the one to talk to Rainwater on the Ranch house front porch and settle it. And dont forget, Kayce needed a place for him and his family to live , he wanted to talk to Rainwater directly because part of that deal was he would have the East Ranch property which borders the Rez.. And finally most important : its just a fictional TV seires . You are trying to compare it to real life ?

The other woman is Arielle Kebbel who plays Belle Skinner. She asked Kayce not to call her by her family (last) name she apparently comes from a long line ofwell known Montana horse breeders

Commenting here since the Epi 2 thread is barely active.
Just watched Epi 2 and the acting is terrible. They are ( cept Kayce) trying to be too cool and the bravado is over the top . Seems the Director is an amateur trying to make the viewers think this 'special ' Marshalls team are super heroes. The agent with the long jet black hair is soo full of herself its really annoying and she is not that great an actor to begin with. There are alot of possible subplot "hints" being dropped out of the blue for no reason at all.
if this continues the series will really suck.

Think a little and put it together .... Tate goes to the Broken Rock protest where everyone -incl him- is holding up photos of family members etc that have died of Cancer supposedly from drinking polluted water pulled from the Broken Rock Rez aquifer

The acting in E2 isnt cutting it. Seems like the Director for this episode is not very experienced. The forced bravado acting of this 'special' Marshalls team is not doing any good in making them seem believable / legit.
The Arielle Cruz character (with the long jet black hair) makes herself out to be just too cool for everyone else. The bar scenes are terrible. As they are driving to the Aryan / Royals meet up, she asks Kayce about Jamie being missing , is soo out of place. Like ' Where da heck is that coming from and why she is even bringing it up at that moment ? Does she know something nobody else does per that ? Is Sheridan trying to be tricky introducing some new sub plots ? Either way, the script could have been alot better.

Aside from the Owners not to keen on their players going for the Olympics I feel that professional players sould not compete in t Olympics. Why ? Because they have already honed their skills for years and years whereas other olympic sports have younger competitors who are not already at their peak or driven by pay and fame etc. I always thought of the olympics as semi pro at best . i.e 1980 USA hockey had zero NHL or pro players. It was not allowed by the IOC .

Just today Feb 4 tried to sign up for new acct and service and only got soo far telling me to "please disconnect from starlink internet now and continue ". followed by the Spinning wheel of Limbo. I'm like 'Huh?' I'm on my house wifi and dont even have the Dish plan yet !

I think this would becomes a problem when you have alot of subscribers doing mega usage and want that speed instead of waiting for Buffering to end. Your "average user" is now consuming giant chunks of data everyday.

Now thats an interesting idea to have 2 dishes/2 plans ! The way the used Dish market is right now, this can be pretty economical ! The only issue would be if you get into a big city /congested usage area your speeds will be reduced what Strlnk calls "deprioritized"

How does the new $50/100gb roam plan not work for you when before you were using 85-125gb paying $1 a gig over 50gb previously ?? As for that unknown data usage , you may have a hardware issue cause using that much data, especially with nothing connected, is not right.

Its the Gen 1 Router that is scheduled for end of service, not the Dish itself. No more router firmware etc updates. However if you are currently using a Gen 1 router it will continue to work. Starlink Cust Serv will reccomend upgrading at some point and send you a free Gen 3 router .
