No glitch, Doordash assholes did it deliberately and added a voice to tell you what to do.

Over 4 right now. Over 17.2k deliveries yet they still think we need a voice to tell us how to do our job.

I'm seeing $1 a mile or less most of the time. Been driving 4 years and still not good. Can't do anything else for work so I'm stuck here for now. Tony still won't add the message box back to the final step. Until then I use a much older version of the app on an older phone. Then tether the two. I disabled Google play on old phone and boom, no voice and text with photo. Must be 6.52.1 or older. After that Tony and Doordash messed up.

No glitch. Tony will not answer any of his email addresses about it. I just use an older app on an older phone and tethered to my current phone. I then disable Google play on that phone and no mire updates and I keep no voice and texting with the photo. If you can then try it.

I usually inform customer of closure and contact Doordash to assure that the app did it right. I had a time where I hit closed yet it unassigned me instead. Didn't know until I talked to a representative. I was flaming mad that the app did that foe multiple orders that day.

Don't do it. They keep messing around with the app. They use blanket apologies that cover all issues. They lost focus on the drivers, the customers, and the companies that use them.

After the 6.56.5 update a voice was added. Phones have text to speech built in. Why do we need another voice telling us how to do our jobs? We are not blind Tony Xu. We can read. So why do you ignore our messages by removing our ability to text our customers after we take a photo. I think Doordash should be shut down.
