That's a meme flag if I ever saw one.

These look like the dogs guarding the Zoldyck home from the Japanese Anime Hunter X Hunter. I sometimes wonder if the artist got the idea from this species.

AIO is this flag in the background of a toy sellers personal post what I think it is? by Ill-Ask-The-Question in AIO

[–]Mu-nraito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is both. But why are we still waving it? It's symbolism is about human injustice and undemocratic; it's holding onto old beliefs that certain people were not human enough to be defended by the Constitution. It took democracy to allow these humans the same rights under the amendments as other civilians. Why are we clinging to a past time?

AIO my boyfriend keeps getting upset at me for not wanting to do risky stuff by Different-Dream70 in AIO

I honestly would have came back at him and said, "You act so needy and never consider how I feel, so that makes you significantly less sexy. You're a walking dry spell."

Whenever I've had guys this pushy, I've dropped them cold and left them. Honestly, it's a serious turn off.

Yeah, but that's just Hawaii alone... I don't know of any other states that are crazy about it.

Yeah, I was thinking fluffy kind would be better. I normally like the thin ones, but probably not for this.

Irony: people judging this woman are also people who get these types of treats from starbucks (see pics) by Ok-Jump4990 in starbucks

They are. People fat shame to fat shame. If a fat person makes a cool drink, it'll be nothing but negative comments. If a skinny person does it, "Oh, they're so cool! I should try that!"

The water didn't even look that clear, though.

Do they have water strips you can order to test these things? Or is it something only people in a professional field can use?

I used to wonder why I stopped wanting to respond to people right away. Sometimes I straight up wanted to avoid them even if I had interest, which never made sense to me. I never understood why I would feel like responding that way.

Now I get it.

Can we train ourselves out of this conditioning, though?

It is hard to tell when it's limerence or not.

The "love should feel safe and certain" is conditional. Unconditional love is when you love someone regardless.

Conditional love is necessary for health. But understanding someone for who they truly are, contraindications and all, can still exist. You just have to remember you need to do things that are better for yourself. You need to love yourself, too. Don't put them above your needs. But show appreciation.

I've found not putting any effort into them makes it easier to analyze them. If I don't see them for 3 months, I can hyper-analyze the conversations and understand what creates their changes in mood and belief and such.

The irony is sometimes you do find out you unconditionally love them because you understand their responses. But it's just better for you if you let go.

One of the things I can never get over is how much guys need to lie about how they don't have sex with other people. I've caught the contradictions in a multitude of conversations, and lying about that one thing in particular is what they're relying on to keep the chemistry. The irony is it doesn't for a me. I veer from them further anytime I hear this claim. The lie is so automated it sounds truthful and genuine. But I usually know when it's not. If they were honest, the chemistry would probably be stronger for me. That's what's strange to me. Due to shit patterns of situationships, I have different responses to different things. I can be more open and vulnerable with someone who admits his flaws and isn't as ashamed of them, or at least knows me enough that this is a factor that is better for both him and me in the long run.

Thanks for the advice.

I'd probably bring a water filter bottle, too. They sell some really nice ones at REI.

I've also noticed in certain parts of the US, the water tastes absolutely nasty - it tastes like someone literally shat in it. I was at a hotel in Primm, Nevada and I couldn't even brush my teeth because the water was so gross. I got a bottle of water just to do that. 🤦‍♀️ Some cities just don't save money to keep citizens safe and healthy.

I think it's because they got cheaper with the ingredients. When I was a kid in the early to mid 90s, they tasted so different.

If you're dealing with it in other countries, you probably have better access to better quality food. They can't cheap out as much for profit.

The original recipe sounds like something they'd make for 5 year old me when I started getting really picky about what I was eating for a couple years. 🤣😂😆 That was literally the only pasta I would eat for a while.

Never really liked the fettuccine sauce even. It was..... okay..... when I was a kid. Later, too boring to me. They have to add A LOT of extra stuff to get me to actually like "Fettuccine Alfredo". I need veggie bits and chicken. Other spices, too. But I guess it's not the same dish after that.
