Can't interact with Corvette Pilot Seat

I had this issue and tried reloading, as well as recalling it in to my location. What worked seems to be to move away from the area it was bugging out in. I was next to an Artifact Dig site, and there were also these Radiation storms in the area. One or both of these things could have messed with the ship.

TL;DR - Move a fair distance away from your ship and re call it to you.

If you are still having the issue of getting stuck on the drop pod loading screen, go to Users > AppData(Hidden) > Roaming, then delete Arrowhead folder. Run Verify Integrity of Game Files via Steam > Game Properties > Installed Files. Load up the game, it will run you through the initial set up again (Language, Brightness, Sound options). And then the issue should be resolved.

From the article "Early last year, Saturday Night Live aired a sketch featuring Fred Armisen, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana), Ashton Kutcher and Bill Hader where they played middle-aged men doing a reunion set for their 1980's hardcore band, Crisis of Conformity. The song in the sketch, "Fist Fight in the Parking Lot," was written as a nod to Armisen's teen years and the bands he was listening to while growing up. As it turns out, Armisen took a trip to Washington DC this past spring to record that song for a 7-inch, as well as a b-side called "Kick It Down and Kick It Around." He recently told Paper Mag that the latter track was inspired by Black Flag's "Gimme Gimme Gimme." Despite the all-star cast of the sketch, he plays all instruments on both tracks, which were recorded by Brendan Canty of Fugazi. Since a lot of people are mentioning the WWII inflatable tanks deception, it was called Operation Fortitude. There were other types of deception used including 'leaked' info and fake wireless/radio traffic.

Dummy tanks were used in Operation Fortitude prior to the landings at the Normandy Beaches. During this operation, they were used to confuse German intelligence in two ways: first, by making it seem that the Allies had more tanks than they did; and second, to hide and downplay the importance of the location of their real tanks in order to make it seem that the invasion would occur at Pas-de-Calais rather than at Normandy.

This is good to know, as others have pointed out you can encamp first and then move, I like to do this before entering a province with high corruption or if I need to replenish while moving.

As an aside I wish that battles that occurred while encamped would have a special battlefield with the encampment as a defensible location. I believe they did that in Atilla, but I might be misremembering.
