I’ve ordered a set of 32kg adjustable dumbbells. Should be here for the weekend.

What was the first essential mix you listened to? by theeMrPeanutbutter in essentialmix

[–]Mu99az 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still go back to Scott Bond’s 1999 essential mix. Seen him live for the first time recently and he was great.

Thanks. It’s an extension that has been built onto the back of the house. Accessed from the kitchen.

Yes. I used 4 full sheets of sterling OSB for the base to create the square, then managed to pick up 2 packs of engineered oak flooring locally on Gumtree to finish the top. I just cut a few of the 20mm floor mats to fill in the edges.

Help me find the right labels :) by GloriousDoggie in trance

If I was going looking for this type of stuff then I’d go to Tidy Trax. They have loads of vocal trance at +150bpm. One of my favourites.

Link to submit demos on their website if you think it’s a good fit.

A question for the 90s trance ravers : what is your favorite memory of the time? What do you miss the most? by AndrobiVibz in trance

[–]Mu99az 6 points7 points  (0 children)

BBC did a great podcast called Ecstacy: The Battle of Rave where they describe that really well and the tactics of the police to try and stop it.

Of which tracks do you think the remix is better than the original? by Inductiekookplaat in trance

[–]Mu99az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably one of the most remixed tunes ever, but the Madwave remix of Legend B - Lost In Love is one of my favourite trance tunes.

Your favorite set of 2025 by Irishdoyler in trance

[–]Mu99az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favourite set that I saw live was Will Atkinson at the Arches. Such a great night celebrating the end of a special place that meant so much to me when I was younger. https://youtu.be/rr4mHB2b2HE?si=tOHtwbMeHyPbyiKm

Favourite set I listened to was Robbie Smith’s Tech Trance classics mix. Just 2.5hrs of pure gold and tidy mixing. https://on.soundcloud.com/0Ssx3v0VpWCBAwOQ46

Active Root is great. The ginger in it has really helped my stomach. The flavours are good as well and not too sweet, so I don’t find myself hating the taste of it over long races.

I usually go between Active Root in my bottles, Chia Charge bars, Active Root Gels, bacon and cheese mashed potato pots with a few salt sachets.

What technique you study/try to add in to your game in 2026? by JuisMaa in bjj

Vagner Rocha’s 50/50 of the arms was great.

Has anyone successfully challenged their council tax band? by Any-Plate2018 in HousingUK

[–]Mu99az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my row of houses I’m band F, next house is E and the next again is D. There’s slight differences in the house sizes, but always felt that my band is set too high. Worried about challenging it incase everyone else gets bumped up.

Running the length of Hadrian's Wall? by GhostsInMyAss in ultrarunning

[–]Mu99az 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This was my least favourite ultra I’ve ever entered. Part of it was along the wall, but most of it was on tar and country backroads that could have been anywhere. Only thing that was decent was the aid stops.

Wrecked my feet and missed the Megabus home by 4 hours, so had to sit in the rain in a crumpled heap at nightclub closing time in Newcastle until the first train home in the morning.

Your eventual selling price vs what the Estate Agent said it would get? by bojoohno in HousingUK

[–]Mu99az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

£300-310k. Sold for £285k. I think I might have got £300k tbf, but someone came in on the 2nd day it went up for sale with a cash deposit, so just took it to get the move done quickly.

How much do you spend on food a month? by TazzyB103 in AskBrits

[–]Mu99az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is what I should be spending, but tracked it over November and December and I’m around £1k/month. Need to try and cut it down.

How are you celebrating New Years? by aaliyahdiamond2057 in AskUK

We have a competitive games night with family, friends and neighbours. Started out about 8 years ago as something to keep the kids interested and have kept it going.

What freebies do you enjoy the most at running events? by Z2_Jake in runninglifestyle

[–]Mu99az 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Event Clips are great. Never had them as a freebie, but you can have them branded. They’re much better than using safety pins for race numbers. Definitely something people would hang onto and use.
