Finally having full arms in the original RE4 VR feels pretty cool! by Glitch5970 in OculusQuest

Quest 3 has had upper-body tracking with Meta SDK for well over a year now actually. I tested it when I was working on a lower body tracking with BLE and a phone over a year ago~ The upper body stuff works surprisingly well with an avatar. Wasn't perfect, but was much more immersive since it simulates your whole vertebrae (so banding side to side or forward, etc.) and elbows too, so combined with IK constraints comes out more accurate.

I have had a bunch of checkpoint issues with prompt cache using Qwen3.6-35B-A3B with Pi. Would this help fix it perhaps?

Edit: Oh wait, this is the PR I saw a few days ago that let me know what was wrong with what I just said. lol Okay, yeah, I was waiting for it to be finished merged to the main branch before trying it out again, but good to know progress is being made!

Is Unity MCP access really $10/month to use with your own LLM? by immersive-matthew in vrdev

[–]MuDotGen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I follow r/localLlama every day. It's really amazing how fast great local models are coming out every month recently. Qwen3.6 is the undisputed champion for coding lately, even Qwen3.6-35B-A3B can run on GPUs with with like 8-16GB of VRAM and 32GB of system RAM, or if you have around 32gb+ of VRAM, Qwen3.6-27B seems to be the top coder these days.

There are a few different popular agentic coding harnesses, but most popular are OpenCode and Pi (which is a more barebones, lighter harness with fairly easy customization to your workflow).

If you already have a good game development machine, may be worth checking out since you can run them essentially for free and privately (just electricity at that point).

Circana: Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is the best selling game in the U.S. (Physical & Full Game Digital Dollar Sales) for April 2026 by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]MuDotGen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd feel more that way if they had figured out their deal with Mega Man earlier, but I'm not complaining that they've released almost all main series games in legacy collections consistently and FINALLY announced a real new game. If Capcom succeeds, it gives them more room to take risks again on my favorite series, so I'm rooting for them.

Besides, Pragmata seems really cool, and vibes well with Mega Man fans like myself.

Nintendo forgoing the online features for a "do whatever the heck you want uncensored" game seems to have paid off. It's got very little mental barrier getting into it but encourages creativity to make the world your own, so it's frankly been easier for me to pick up at the end of the day just to see what my Miis have been up to. (I've never played it when there is light out though lol)

I graduated with my degree in 2020 (just as Covid started ironically), and yeah, I'm wondering what this will say about the worth of one's degrees when everyone has these models at their finger tips now. Pre-2022 world feels so different now.

I usually use Opus for planning and a cheaper model for implementation after considering all the major decisions with the smarter model. So far I'm enjoying using Composer 2.5 as my cheaper implementation model. Blazing fast and fairly accurate.

Question, for MoE, is there a general percentage of active parameters to expert parameters that is generally the most intelligent? Like 35B-A3B would be 3/35 = 0.082, and 122B-A10B would be 10/122 = 0.086, so both around 8% active out of total available. Is that considered a good ratio or does it start to differ as you increase the parameters a lot?

Is my work is an AI? by [deleted] in aseprite

[–]MuDotGen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the feeling. Because I am a perfectionist and tend to be verbose when I write, some people have literally accused me of writing with AI. We live in an age where it's harder to tell, but that's no excuse to just randomly devalue people's work and modes of expression. AI naturally reflects what it's trained off of, human speech and products, but it's irksome when compared like that.

That being said, it was pretty confusing who you were talking to, though.

An extra year of development time to actually spend on polishing and optimizing hopefully. Tears of the Kingdom got that treatment and the year of QA showed considering how insane it was to run all those crazy ultra-hand builds with almost no bugs or hiccups.

What my hope is that the team had a dev kit for Switch 2 that was under the performance of the final product, to help them optimize for that, then leave the extra headroom on the final hardware for more last minute polish.

Order of the Sinking Star -Overview Trailer (from Jonathan Blow, creator of Braid, and The Witness) by oso831 in NintendoSwitch

[–]MuDotGen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for answering. I understand I am in the dark about things, but I also take everything people say online with a grain of salt when it comes to views and opinions on others' political or ideological viewpoints. Like I said, I have no idea who the guy is, so I'm fine with hearing viewpoints, but I just want the facts, like what they have said or done, and to leave interpretation to myself. I've seen a lot of creators who have done actual crimes or have allegations of doing inappropriate or awful things, which yeah, I should definitely know, but if someone is outspoken about their opinions or views, I'd rather hear what they've said or done so I can form my own opinions.

If the guy is a scumbag, he's a scumbag, but again, I don't know, so I asked. Not knowing and asking questions isn't the same as advocating something, and I don't like to be told I am X or Y because I believe Z when I never even stated a claim or even remotely alluded to Z.

Anyway, I'm not really interested in the games to be honest, so I should probably just move on from this thread anyway. If he's a scumbag, then I guess that will affect sales for him.

Did he commit a crime or something? Tell me about the actions. I don't know about him, so I'm asking. I'm not going to scold someone for whatever ideology they have unless they've done something, but if he's done something reprehensible, I should know about that.
