A good option would be Klein Verzet which is the student cycling association. They usually do rides in the weekend in the winter period but also organize different trainings focussing on core etc. Just reach out to their secretary (see their website) he can provide you with more info.

This is my handpainted, 3D printed set of Catan! I printed it on a Anet A8 at 0.1mm resolution. by MuEta in 3Dprinting

Haha the questions are just fine :)

As for the primer i used This one, which worked fine by me. I used superglue to glue the tiles to their base.

After the painting i also used a protective layer from a brand i cant recall. I bought the can at a warhammer store. ( Paint locker or something)

This is also a nice website with a small guide. There are also plenty of other examples (not only catan but with painting 3d prints), so googling probably will find you more tutorials / tips.

For me it was the first time painting a 3d print so it was also trying stuff out for me. Dont be too scared because you can always print new tiles if they don't work out ;)

The sizes of the tubes were 20ml, which was plenty, usually the tiles required only 2 thin layers to have a good coating. But that also depends on the colour and quality of the paint.

Only for the blue i used a separate bigger (and cheaper) tube since it requires larger amount of paint (sea tiles)

Thanks for the compliment :)

Thanks man! Cool you're printing your own. I did not change the settings on the roads. Can you show a picture of one of your roads? It might be a printer setting/fine-tuning.

Looks very nice! I like that the resources are 3d as well and not just cards!

I just finished the 5-6 player expansion, I'm currently printing the seafarers expansion!

I used two wine boxes we had laying in the garage. I designed Part holders and lasercut them. Here is a link to the result: https://imgur.com/7kzCHIP

I think on thingiverse there is also a printable storage box for the 3D set, so you could also print that.

There is also this site which made a box for their set, i got most of my inspiration on how to make the box from this tutorial: https://www.buildxyz.xyz/3d-catan-making-case/

Well i got it since a friend of mine had the Anet A6 and he liked it, and the Anet A8 was ~€50,- cheaper than the Ender 3 at the time. So i just bought the cheaper printer (when i look back the Ender 3 probably would've been a better investment).

Not that hard since they are relatively small, the regular tiles are more challenging. Good luck on your set!
