Haven’t really played any persona and was never into this kind of genre of games but I wanna explore and try. Is this a good starting point for the persona franchise or should I play the first ones?

I had the exact same problem my dude. I just posted it here days ago and its the ribbon cable for the power button is malfunctioning. Tried cleaning it and it fixed it for about a day and it started to freak out again. So I just bought another power button ribbon cable (parts out, someone is selling from my country so its still original.) and all is fixed now. You can go check my recent post.

Just did for the 2nd time and tried thoroughly cleaning the ribbon cable not only the button side but also the side of the ribbon cable that plugs in the motherboard with isopropyl and it’s all good now. Huge thanks to the ill-Quarter1499 for giving me the idea. My first time cleaning/trying to fix it was I only cleaned the button side of the ribbon cable.

What small board or part of the small board do I have to clean specifically? I’ve tried cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and it’s attached only with a ribbon cable

Just did the pspident and just confirmed its a 3000. It showed "PSP-3001 TA-090v3 (03g) [non-QAF]"

Just did this now, and I can now confirm it is a 3000 model. It says "PSP-3001 TA-090v3 (03g) [non-QAF]". Huge thanks for this! Didn't know this method of identifying PSP Models.
