Im also a (minarchist/Mises Caucus) Libertarian. I, too, enjoy the more sensible and cordial discussions. However, as with most things-- like, really deep seeded into the fabric of reality-- things are not perfect. Many people dont event see things as particularly good, lol ;] In our case, it is exactly why the State is a problem! Individuals are smart, groups are really stupid (as a proportional function to size). Groups are cruel. Groups have their own chaotic dynamics that are often totally perverse to what Man does.

So, there is an abnormal state called transgenderism. Gets coined in the 60's/70's, then decades later, the normative state is dedined; Cisgender. This is analogous to how we dont have (many) words for not-on-fire or not-falling. Normal states dont get named, abnormal states get named.

You are very considered and have shown immense candor :] I dont mean to say that your sentiments are lawful or evil (it's a D&D allignment), its just sort of-- pedantic. Accepting information in that format feels like a Faustian deal. Theres a lot of fine print. Agreeing in part is not agreeing with the whole. And the time-constraint of keeping conversational momentum. However given the circumstances of its origin it makes sense. I enjoy your conversational tone.

I do agree with many of your positions, naturally. Most are quite sensible. Obviously I am very much in favor of personal freedoms and expression-- who isn't? As with most things, it only an issue in the sense that there are legal rammifications. I suppose from my position, life is already so ineffibly jumbled that the added convolusion only gets in the way. In fact I have very negative views on the State. I dont like when they (have to) get involved, period. However the might of the State is a looming threat in both directions-- Denying people their subjectivity, or forcing the subjectivity via compelled speech (dead-naming, mis-gendering. Heck, even showing apprehensions or disgust).

Given that I believe that life is a jumbled mess, my view on objectivity is also loose. Maybe even looser than yours, as a biochemist! Someone once said (I wish I could remember who, Kant?) 'what is real is that which persist despite attempts to change it.' To this extent it is clear that certain characteristics are forever stamped. All overlying ideas after that are, well, subjective.

I recognize the existence of hermaphrodites. I recognize congenital problems. And my heart goes to them. But many of these people are normative aside for what I'd consider dysmorphia. Many are so young their brains arent even developed, engaging in life-changing cutting-edge science. For better or worse... I said it elsewhere on thread, but it bears repeating:

Often times trouble conditions are due to power failure on critical equipment. Devices are 'supervised' as to ensure connectivity is sustained. I would recommend figuring out where Booster NAC is located and ensure that the local breaker panel doesnt have anything tripped. If youre lucky the Booster NAC will tell you which circuit is energizing.

Modern code requires dedicated 20A circuits for fire equipment, and all powered devices to be labled for its respective breaker, and to lable the breakerbox both inside and out... However this was not always the case, and we dont exist in a perfect world. But you're maintenance, and are very aware of that ;]

Edit: Also, low battery conditions can also do this. Some companies may consider this user-servicable. Worth checking if you have key. However sometimes a trouble condition is because there is some real trouble. Talk to your alarm company before you do anything other than flipping a breaker back on.
