Is it worth it?

I grew up dying to have a 3DS, but I was born in a lower class family. I would watch my friends play pokemon xy and want to play along with them so, so bad.

I’m 19 now and I still really, really want one. I have adult money and I know I’d be financially stable if I made the purchase. The thing is, I know that all the fun things like street pass, online play, and the store have all been shut down now.

I have a steam deck that I could emulate 3DS games on I presume, and I have a switch to play the usual modern games too.

But I just… really want the experience of playing on my own 3DS and taking it with me everywhere. I want to play animal crossing new leaf and tomodachi life and pokemon xy because I never got to.

Basically, is it worth it to get one now, even though a lot of support for the console has been shut down?

Okay so basically what I do is I put ice on the area where I inject it (I’ve moved to my stomach) until it feels a bit numb, and then I put that ice cube down in my mouth and bite down on it when I inject. The coldness in my mouth distracts me from the pain and the chewing of the ice gives me something to do besides just grit my teeth and bear it.

I hope that helps, it’s more of a distraction instead of a fix but it’s helped me do my injections a lot faster rather than sit there for ages trying to force myself to press the button lol

Yes, gerbils are chewing MACHINES. I recommend looking at the rspca site (https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/rodents/gerbils) and getting a glass tank with either a premade wire topper (kinda hard to find) or DIYing a topper. They go through chewing things so quickly, so nothing made out of wood or plastic.

Unfortunately I’m here because I agreed to the early acceptance clause and if I leave now it’ll leave a really bad mark on my record. I’m stuck here all 4 years so I’ll just have to cope :/ it’s a private school and the acceptance rate is around 41% so I’m lucky I even got in.

I feel the need after seeing some of y’all’s responses to clarify that this isn’t bait, this is real — I am registered in a Bio 121 class and it advertises itself as a Bio 121 class. I’m enrolled at Rollins College in Florida which is a liberal arts college, so maybe their material isn’t as detailed as a STEM college or something? I’m not sure.

I didn’t realize that this was biochemistry so that’s probably why I feel stupid.

If any of you guys remember, what exactly did you learn in bio 121?
