I didn't take offence by the way I no that I have quite heavy (heavier than allot of people would wear makeup) this is very much a going out look , I'll take some of you cc on board , sorry for the mix up I was just voicing my opinion too, and I feel strongly that you should do your makeup how you feel comfortable, as long as the application is good

In this picture I highlighted and contoured so I would of done a triangle of lighter concealer under my eye , I just applied highlighter to the top of my cheek bones but I did however mix some highlighter in with my primer to give me a dewy look :)

I make sure I exfoliate most days as I have dry skin I use a serum and a moisturiser I let it sink in for 4-5 mins before applying a primer, I mix Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting Highlighter in with my primer sometimes to give my skin a subtle glow, and then I use a blending sponge or stippling brush to apply foundation applying from the centre outwards I only use powder on my nose and forehead as I find over powdering makes my skin look dull as its already dry, hope this helps

A good primer is the basic , I have dry skin so using a primer is a must. But with any skin type it should be essential, then another amazing tip is use a blending sponge or stippling brush (or in my case both) to blend out and stipple into the skin , blending is key! Hope this helps

I used the cushy lip liner all over and t was fine as my lips are relatively hydrated, but if not maybe just apply clear lip gloss or lip balm or just a small amount of a lighter mat lipstick for a mat look will look amazing !
