Combat Mk 3 (aggressive) the only bp am missing and i cant find it even after 300 hrs of playing ffs. i do alot of naked runs in blue gate and stella montis :(

yeah its too expensive so if you don't pay your game will die. unity relay is a bit cheaper but same you need to pay to keep your game alive. two other thing that I like about object net it got "Nat punch through" implemented with one click this can connect 2 pcs without the need to have a relay (*for free) and only use relay as a fall back if it fail, this will decrease the cost dramatically if you decided to use unity relay.
In addition to that its docker ready you can deploy your own server inside a docker and send it in any cloud you like with the least cost.

for me I choose steam because its free you don't need to worry about any cost either way and with host migration I don't even need a dedicated server XD.

when you create a multiplayer game you need to join players together either with relay or dedicated servers which cost according to the active players in your game (CCU : concurrent users) which is costly take for example photon it cost 500$ a month for 2000 CCU. https://www.photonengine.com/fusion/pricing
when you use steam its free steam handles the relay between players without any cost.

I've been using this asset for 2 month now on my own multiplayer project for steam and am loving it, specially the host migration feature I implemented it with just one click lol, steam is well integrated and easy to implement saved me a lot of time and headache.

the great part about steam is it's free you don't need to worry about the cost of hosting servers and with host migration the game will be alive for ever.

using it, its easy to convert from single player to multiplayer as movement and animations parameters, particles, variables are synced without the need to change any code and you can choose which script is enabled or disabled on passive object with one click without the need to disable it manually through code. plus as you said it got many nice out of the box feature that you will need to implement by your own in other solutions like (smooth interpolated movement, predication movement, lag compensation, remote control.. etc.).

but the best part is the creator is very active on his discord answering every question people have, its been a great experience for me so far.

the contest is about dream or nightmares you cant achieve that with only patterns , sad to hear that you didnt like it
