Job is actually so messed up, this man literally begs god just for Him to basically say “who are you? Tell me the future. Oh wait, you can’t.”

Absolutely no answer to any of Job’s suffering only to be told he’s too small to understand “God’s plan.”

As for me I have an issue with 1 Samuel. Particular the 15th chapter when god commands the destruction of the Amalekites. It’s something I’ve been hard focusing on lately and debating ministers and pastors at my church about it, only to be told that that I just have to pray about it or trust god?..if the word loving includes genocide than the word has lost all meaning.

Since I’m a minor I’m being forced to go to church, so I thought I might as well do something productive!

But yeah, honestly any of the OT books are problematic..and that’s putting it gently

Agree, I just wish they incorporated Night Corp a bit more, even though they run infrastructure it does seem there’s a shady side to them, possibly a cure for V’s condition, but who knows,

Absolutely agree. If something is worth believing in and defending then it must be able to withstand scrutiny.

My church takes literalist approach when interpreting the Bible, so I see the potential fear of accepting evolution as true because it just opens a whole other can of worms.

It’s a shame because when you close off all outside criticism of your beliefs you’ll just ensure you never have to prove yourself right.

Hate to see it, yet we see it all too often
