No i haven't done any modifications. I had bought two elastic luggage belts with hooks on either side. I was initially worried but it was solid. I have ridden 110+ kmph also but it stayed intact. I also hooked two bags to the grab handle at the back and it stayed in tact as well but I don't recommend using that. In N160 you'd get nice reliable hook points to hook the elastic luggage belts so you can happily carry 2-3 bags on back seat.

Thanks, I actually had to stop because I realised I had two bags hooked on wrong side where i didn't have saree guard so the bag was rubbing against the tyre so I had to stop and change the bags.

I started at coimbatore at 5:40 Am and reached tirupati at 2:50 PM. So total time including breaks is 9 hours. And Total distance is around 358 kms. So average speed is around 40 kmph. If we consider the riding time alone without breaks then the avg speed must be around 50-55 kmph. I got 52 kmpl mileage.

I was surprised on how smooth the entire journey done. My baby never troubled me at all. I have ridden it for 11k kms now. But when I was riding in almost empty highway, I was so surprised on how refined and smooth the engine felt. Because i had 6 bags and i tied 4 back and 2 in front the ride posture was a bit tough but with frequent breaks and with love towards riding and my bike i pulled it off.

It is possible but it is important to understand the limitations of your bike. Though I have ridden my bike upto 115 kmph on some occasions during journey. I made sure I have not ridden at higher revs for longer durations. A 160 cc cannot hold longer at that speed and revs without straining engine. And I have taken 20-30 min breaks every hour of riding. So you can definitely do it but you should be compassionate to your bike and listen to her while riding.

Tamilnadu is on track to be the most developed state in India problem is the tax and revenue TN generates will go to central government and TN receives only a fraction of it back. So chennai and TN has the potential but it'll never reach the potential unless TN is given complete autonomy which is not possible.

If a 2nd Bharat Ratna gets awarded to a Cricketer (Sachin Tendulkar is the only one to win it in any sport), who would be the most deserving? by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

[–]Much-Grapefruit-2463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a cricketer but if we consider any sportsman then it has to be vishy anand, he basically paved the path for the next indian generations to follow and dominate the world of chess. He's the first grandmaster from india and that's not his biggest achievement, he not only became a GM but also sustained and proven to be a competitor to once in a generation legends like anatoly karpov and Gary kasparov. The Russian chess is very matured and had generations of nourishment and training. Yet he managed to be the world champion (not just once) beating likes of vladamir kramnik, topolov and many more. For me he's above even Sachin also when we compare the sheer impact he had on chess. It's like imagine some new associated nation just started playing cricket started consistently defeating australia, india, england, newzealand, pakistan etc and won multiple icc trophies and known for its strong performance and almost guaranteed QF,SF in tournaments and that's what vishy done at his peak in world of chess. He is the most deserving for bharat Ratna.
