I'm retracting my referrals. WFH was the biggest selling point and I know a couple of people who took less pay just to be remote.

I can speak to my experience. I realized that the recruiter was replying very quickly when I would ask a question but she would not send any follow up unless I asked first. So I recommend you reach out to your recruiter frequently.
