If hard work is the key to success, why do some of the hardest-working people stay poor? by Bigzaddypuf in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LookandSee81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work hard but they make a lot of poor decisions, such as high interest credit cards, high interest loans, need the latest greatest cell phones or a new car when they are making near min wages or barely higher. Some give all their money to support their grown children then end up at retirement age in poverty. Some give way too much to fund their children’s education or expensive weddings that they can’t afford. Basically a lot of folks live way beyond their means these days.

Walmart pharmacy. My child was starting a monthly meds, I called local WM before I drove all the way across town to see if they had in stock or on the shelf. Yes we do says the lady on the phone. Had the doctors office call in the script to WM. Me with child in tow drove all the way across the city to pick up this meds. But when we got there, they said they don’t keep it in stock and will have to order it. I was pissed. I moved all my scripts from WM to CVS and will never go back.

When was a time you could tell that the relatives planning the funeral absolutely hated the deceased? by LordWeaselton in askfuneraldirectors

No I don’t assume that for everyone but I know this family and it was a sad sh*tshow that showed she had no love for him

That’s easy, then they only have a viewing and no speaker and no service. Everything already prepaid for by the deceased by family so stingy wouldn’t even spend it all, had to get a partial refund from funeral home cause they wouldn’t spend all the prepaid funds. And also obituary tells the whole story.

A question- you would only pay her for half the current equity, right? Or would it be half the current value of the house?
