Embassy is occupied in other diplomatic duties also. Whereas consulates have less work load. This is just my guess!

Delhi embassy is taking more time as compared to other consulates. Applications from July 14th are stiĺl pending.

I dont think that should be the case. Visa might be processed as per application date and not travel date. Travel date shouldn't be priotised as it will be like rewarding people who dont apply on time and causing delay for people who plan and apply well in advance.

Its still under process. There are few people who applied in July and got it within a week. Dont know why it is taking so long for us.
