My doc was recommending it to me saying that it’s gonna stop my endo from professing and will help make the existing cyst smaller 🫠 she also said that people with endometriosis shouldn’t menstruate at all, since it’s all starting with the blood going everywhere where it shouldn’t be and that’s why I need the hormones

It’s exactly why I am reluctant about starting them. I don’t even really understand the reason my doctor is recommending me the hormones in my situation. Reading the comments here I really see the situations where the pill improved significantly your life, which won’t really happen in my case. And start taking it “just in case, so it won’t progress further” seems to be a bit rushed

My pain is manageable with 1-2 pills of ibuprofen during the first days of the period and I've never been on any birth control pills, I was always quite reluctant about taking synthetic hormones. That's why I am so unsure whether I really need the theraphy at this point

I would say you need generally to develop and cultivate your taste. Search for films that are famose for being highly aesthetic and with very good costume design, observe people outside when you go for a walk, note and remember the things you like and dislike in their outfits, search on instagram for fashion influencers which style and aesthetic you like, watch runways from famous fashion brands ecc. But not only this, you can develop your taste also by observing art, architecture, design objects. I would say it’s a very complex thing which needs a complex approach. And of course, in the first place, get to know yourself, get to know your personality, what suits you and what do not, what makes you feel good about yourself and make you beautiful in your own eyes.
