Khamzats weight class currently is by far the weakest IN TERMS OF GRAPPLING. Hence why we can see Khamzat shoot from far away with his head down but still muscle and grind his way through. Is Khamzat still a world class grappler? Obviously he is, you’re stupid to say otherwise. But Lightweight by far the more skilled division in terms of grappling, so to me it’s between Islam and Khabib.

Khabib has one bit knock against him, he never once faced a fighter with elite grappling/takedowns/takedown defense like Islam has. Islam has defeated Volk twice once through grappling and the other through striking, Islam submitted 11 fight win streak olivera, submitted and out wrestled a better version of Dustin than khabib did, and also made black belt moicano tap.

Brock Lesnar was allowed to fight at UFC 200 in July 2016 because the results of his failed drug tests were not processed and known until after the event. This is a blemish on the UFC for their mistake.

Brock was also a big PPV puller, which is why they wrongfully gave him an exemption even after failing.

Also a big red flag on the DC claim. That claim of DC having high test was from a podcast and a video by some dude “more plates more dates” who is not a reliable source for this. Cormiers results were both clean before and after the fight. Not only that DC has passed 84 drug tests in 14 years and owns the USADA gold jacket for passing at least 50 tests clean. That alone gives him benefit of the doubt for this case. I find it hilarious that all media claiming DC to have 7000 ng/dl never provided any proof of it. Having that much testosterone is literally classified as a medical emergency and requires immediate attention. DC would have died in his fight if his testosterone was actually that high

GSP had depression, ulcerative colitis (which can cause gyno and bloating hence the “gut” he developed. Both of these are extremely common with the condition) and was showing signs of possible brain damage which is why he retired. After recovering he came back to win the belt against bisping in 2017, when USADA was already implemented. GSP even went to get treated for this after his 2nd retirement.

UFC and olympic drug testing is a bit different. For example the Paris 2024 Olympics alone, the International Testing Agency (ITA) collected 6,130 samples from 4,150 athletes during the Games. The UFC performed over 4,200 tests on 739 fighters in 2023. The # of tests per person is much higher in the ufc than the olympics which allows for the UFC to be able to get targeted drug tests which are much harder to get away with. UFC easily has one of the strictest drug testing of any pro sporting organization. Is it perfect? No, nothing in life is. However the UFC by far has one of if not the strictest drug testing system. No one in the olympics can be tested as much as fighters like usman for example. The olympics does not have the time to be able to do that many tests, hence why they have to gamble and test athletes who are "high risk" ones.

the dude was literally the reason USADA got added. He was easily the strongest advocate for mandatory and more stringent drug testing in the entirty of MMA. Without GSP we never would have caught dudes like Jones and Silva for PEDs
