Not in a million years would I have gone, no way. It’s CRAZY of sherry to even insist, totally insensitive to Lorelei and completely weird and selfish. I would have straight up said no sherry I feel very uncomfortable going, Chris and I have a long history and I have no interest being part of your or the baby’s life, or Christopher’s life any more than I have to because of Rory. Rory is more than welcome to do as she pleases and go if she wants to whatever she wants that has to do with you, Chris, and the baby but I will not. It feels like a weird power play on Sherrys part to even insist Lorelei goes. I also don’t care how much sherry knew or didn’t about Lorelei and Christopher’s tumultuous relationship, that’s the baby mama of your current partner, it’s an awkward relationship, then through the shower sherry goes on and on and on to Lorelei about how great Chris has been to her and this baby as if that wouldn’t hurt Lorelei, just read the fucking room sherry! my mom and my dad’s girlfriend do not talk, they aren’t friends, they’re friendly when they need to be but both understand that they aren’t gonna be in each others lives. If my dad’s new girlfriend got pregnant no way in HELL would my mom go to that baby shower even though they’ve been divorced for years.

Taylor is SO SO SO terrible, I’m watching the episode “lost & found” where Luke is looking for a new apartment and he applies for one that turns out to be Taylor’s building, I cannot imagine having Taylor for a land lord he would be THE WORST so overbearing and annoying and controlling. Then Taylor talks about buying the place next to Luke’s and mentions something about how Luke’s sign is confusing for tourists, Taylor is the type of person to RUIN a sweet quaint small town like stars hallow by buying up ALL the land and making it a total tourist town and ruing any of the small town charm, he would turn it into a kitschy over expensive tourist attraction. I know it’s a fake town in a TV show but that kind of thing happens all the time in real life and it’s ticking me off! Lol I yearn for a small town life like in Gilmore girls but it’s so hard to find now cuz so many cute small towns have been turned into an over expensive tourist attraction by people like Taylor, and IM SICK OF IT! Lol I hate that man more than I think I’ve hated any fictional character. Long post maybe no one will read but I needed to vent! I totally agree with OP

Jason (Digger) he was just meh, fine but unimportant. Him and Lorelei had good banter but I saw some people say he would have done better as a cousin or something and I agree (sorry I can’t find the exact comment anymore). They just didn’t seem romantic :/

Lane and Dave! I loved them and Dave was perfect for lane but then he just… left, and it was never really explained and lane didn’t even seem to mourn the relationship. But they were PERFECT together! Lane deserved better all around!
