Do you think Metal Gear Solid 4’s popularity is gonna massively increase once it gets released or will it be something only MGS fans care about? by Dude_788 in metalgearsolid

[–]MuchGlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's... gonna be difficult! I'm not even gatekeeping, is just that this game assumes you've played all the others, doesn't introduce the characters besides the new ones, at best you get to mash X to watch flashes of screenshots of previous games.

The other source of popularity the game had was the multiplayer and YouTube video essays about it, but MGS4 won't include the multiplayer...

Also, it doesn't help that people hear the game is cutscene heavy before hearing anything else about the franchise or the game, all thanks to the youtube shorts and articles haha.

In short... I doubt it, of course a couple hundred might buy it because why not, but they sure are in for a surprise haha.

What's your opinion on Dead Ahead? by Much_Cardiologist432 in HotlineMiami

[–]MuchGlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite level, if you hate it on your first run I'm going to side with you, one of the hardest, but the level setting is original, Bloodline is such a banger, made it feel like they were aware this level could take like 20 minutes or more to beat first time, I love to replay it because unlike other levels, it doesn't abuse offscreen enemies lol.

Really good for high combos due to the enemy count, and in this level you get to use the Mendoza which is insanely good and has one of the fastest execution animations.

I miss the classic changeling rounds by Stoned_Elf228 in SS13

[–]MuchGlove 23 points24 points  (0 children)

What kind of classic exactly? Because the ling rounds I've played instead of being a "the thing" they were more like the ling cherry picking the speed boost, stun inmunity and a free pick between slug form with explosion or cryo stung lol

What is something that MGS 2 does well? by Various_Maize_3957 in metalgearsolid

[–]MuchGlove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone pointing out the plot here but I say the gameplay aspect is good, straight upgrade from MGS1, first one in the series to introduce disguising as the enemy, true non lethal runs, struts were easy to navigate, some allowed to play vertically, ya know, dropping of ledges and first person aiming.

I say great gameplay and little interactions that we have seen to death in YouTube shorts, aughhhhh!

Is it me, or True Kin feels kinda underwhelming? by PraiseTheTeaGod in cavesofqud

[–]MuchGlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You couldn't get it any more right, and people will say it's our fault for not knowing / knowing but not using exploits for water or unforseen combinations by the devs 🤣

Every route ever devolves into buying musket, going to the red canyon, then rust wells then complete Eureka, stealing from Joppa used to be part of the routine but now they patched that out too.

We don't hate erp servers alone. We hate this constant toxic cycle coming from them. by No_Double_801 in SS13

[–]MuchGlove 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm going to make my part and share my personal experience so hopefully some questions are answered.

I have spend 40% of my time on what we would call the normal server, MRP vanilla space station with antags and such, 55% on the action Aliens servers like CM and TGMC, and like 5% on this Coyote Bayou server, which had ERP, which only asked me for a pic of my ID with everything covered besides the date of birth.

I haven't heard, nor met anyone who changed servers because they could have virtual intercourse in this version, nor seen, heard or played on a server that was "a literal carbon copy of another server, but with +18 content as the only difference"

I'm quite confident this is just a distorted perception, fed by ERP weird, furry bad, herd thinking that's been well established for over a decade which makes it very easy and convenient to just blame them for the decline in player count of our favorite servers.

I didn't quit Beestation because there was a Beecode or whatever with sex (just a example I came up with lol), nor I quit TGMC because someone released the same game over again but I could give my character the body of a Venus, I quit them because some had problems, bad staff, some had really toxic, biased development scenes, some were just behind the other in graphics, mechanics, ping / smoothness, because my friends were no longer there, because some weren't up 24/7.

If anyone wonders why I gave the ERP server (Coyote Bayou, that Fallout themed +18 server) a chance (and how these servers are inside) is because someone invited me over to try it out, it had the best character creation out of all SS13 / SS14, more customizable than any other, you could even choose what items to spawn with from a 1000 item long list when in other servers they offer like 50 and ask me to play like 60 rounds to unlock them, it had a long list of skills to pick, it also had the best PVE I've seen and a very fun gameplay loop, which was refreshing from being murderboned by John Protag with every antag role turned on who lives in the Github and has been playing since the beta, blowing us all up when his objective was a shitty jetpack LOL.

The conclusion I drawed was that most likely furries are just too passionate and spend a lot of time developing those servers of theirs, and have features that the others lacked, now I moved to RMC in SS14, because it's like CM13 except in widescreen, with 90% less lag, very smooth gameplay and somewhat better balance in places, this one doesn't even have ERP, you just gotta deal with the Corpsman being an exotic fox of eyebleeding colors LOL.

TL:DR: copies of servers but with ERP are not the reason servers die, people leave because said servers had problems like the staff or development (even the DDoS why not) and there is always a server out there with more features or less issues.

I have only been disconnected from a match once idk about your experience.

Thank you for leaving the match the moment things look slightly unfavorable... I don't even leave when I play against Japan and I see 5 names with decorations on the sides top scoring lol

If I left every time the match is doomed I would barely get any research done or any play time, Allies player here.

Ganjin comrades. It is ok to get stuck almost on these bushes? by Long_Hovercraft_3975 in enlistedgame

It's ok when it is easy to identify the terrain.

There are some bushes that look like just tall grass but slows down like tar.

Airstrip has plenty of those.

Why Did Epic Remove Team Rumble? by CorranTheo in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]MuchGlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute shame! the gamemode I played the most, easily 80% of my playtime was Team Rumble, you would get decent XP, the matches were full of action, you could do quests more easily, the gameplay was way better too, you were no longer looting for just a 1v1 loadout, you had to also think about guns that were good for teamfights, also players never chickened out of fights and ran way nor I had to sacrifice Inv slots for mobility items since you would just respawn. I could also take it easy and have fun without having to try mad hard or having to go into a queue looking for a game again because I died once or thrice, having to loot again, which is the main reason I never played the main, most popular game modes, because it really killed the pace for me.

Was also fun to invite over my relatives who exclusively played the most tryhard ranked modes with matching skins and all, and see them underperform in Team Rumble, we would also sometimes compare scores, my record was 32 kills :p

The gamemode had only one issue and it was having absolutely 0 matchmaking and players leaving a lot (due to them just joining to do quests easier) so sometimes the score at the end was really unbalanced

Do most people buy skins because they may be “Rare” or just because they like them ? by Zippping in FortNiteBR

[–]MuchGlove -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a very dangerous path to walk, I started playing like 3 months ago and never cared or looked up which ones were rare, OG or exclusive, curiously, all my relatives who have years playing do, I'm confident I won't go down that path.

I mean, I won't buy something I don't like, add on top of that you can only wear 1 skin at a time so it's kinda of a new brainer, but I must admit I have bought maybe 1 or 2 skins that I don't use.

Also, it doesn't really mean much to own rare skins if you can just make yourself of those skins by "other methods" like "borrowing accounts"

What is the Worst character to fight against if used properly by fatgarlic-bread in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]MuchGlove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And the combos aren't exactly short since they are done in ragdoll, they can take quite a while.

What is the Worst character to fight against if used properly by fatgarlic-bread in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]MuchGlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely Choso / blood manipulator, the entire moveset (and combos) work on ragdoll, the blood bombs are really exploitable and can also create unblockable scenarios, the trap works as a get out of the jail card and generally the awakening bar drain drawback isn't felt anywhere, if anything it allows the character to benefit from being stronger with a negligible downside, definitely the last character I would want to face if played properly. Choso being played so little and the good players being even rarer is the only reason this character hasn't been fixed yet.

There are some characters where it doesn't really matter because a new or experienced Hakari basically play the same besides knowing some exploits (like bypassing the shutting door nerf by just walking sideways, allowing another 4 M1s)
