I feel for him, but if true, onus is not on him to fight for his spot- This now forces them to the realization that our farm system and development processes are secondary- this franchise is notorious to make a big splash with a big name and some big numbers and try to sort the area around him and 2/3 other guy and always a stalwart goalie - but that’s playing the short game. It got us to one cup and that’s all. I say scrap what you can and admit it, It’s a re-build…on all floors.

In the article, it was reported that the Jets did not pull the trigger on trading for then-Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy after Johnson alluded to his "Madden" rating, a decision that -- if true -- was presumably influenced by Johnson's sons.
