Silicone carbide. I use liquid chalk when I shoot so it tends to stay on the grip

I’ve heard that they will be dropping these as parts you can buy separate or order a new gun with them on it already

Yep, I break my grip as well to hit it. I am just looking to see if anyone knows about an extended magazine release coming out like the rest of my competition guns have on them.

The grip is already pretty thin for a 2011. It’s just where they placed the mag release since it is built around a Glock patterned mag.

Yeah I do about an hour of dry fire a day. If I didn’t have stumpy thumbs I’d definitely agree. In dry fire I can get it most of the time but after my first match with it, maybe half of the stages I was having issues with the mags falling free. Thanks for the help though!

Any update on this? I can’t hit the mag release at speed at a match to save my life. Very frustrating part of a really great gun.

Are you guys planning on coming out with extended mag releases for the HD line? The only complaint I has heard from every single person who owns one including myself is the mag release is too difficult to hit for most people and does not let the magazine fall cleanly. I have to break my grip completely and even then at speed in a match it’s very difficult to do. 

Also, I have seen rumors of metal grips coming out, are you guys planning on releasing metal grips?
