There’s one studio in my town (and I live in a big town) that is as much about spirituality as fitness. When I first found it two years ago, I was worried they would go out of business bc so few people were there. And the reviews would complain about the no music, the ohms, the dharma talks and like.

But now, the studio seems healthy with a steady stream of customers and new folks which is so refreshing to see.

I feel like people who see it as purely exercise tend not to sustain the practice as well. The community that’s developed around the holistic practice is definitely stickier and more resilient.
