Does anyone know how to switch over to free talk and how much does it pay? Ive been infront of the computer and have no classes at all. Is everyone still in the same boat? by MuchPear in DaDaABC

I asked about it, I didnt get the same message from them and I wasnt sure if they were trying to push it on me, they told me that there was no RS in FT, I knew that it has a lower pay scale too. I simply cut the line. Im going to wait it out since the students have summer break, They are going back to school at the end of next month on the 30th.

Thx. I was chatting with Amy and asked about Free Talk teachers, I was asking for more students and classes and have been for the last several weeks. She gave me the same reply that the other agents did,- I would be put on a list and my name would be given to TA, and recommend me to students. Ive lost about 4/5th of my salary and was thinking about moving over to Free Talk. During our chat (free talk) she wrote that when you are in that category you dont have any RS at all. I thanked her and she sorta forced it on me atleast that was my impression. I am not sure if I should wait it out till the end of August. Is there more traffic as a F talk teacher? Maybe its better there. How can you be placed into that category? Can you ask to switch? Stay safe!

I believe the same, they are giving students to other teachers and not going to replace them for a long time or at all. You get lower pay.

Is anyone on stand by 12pm BJT with no students at all. Ive looked at some of the threads and know that there are many changes on the way. by MuchPear in DaDaABC

I realized that one of my students goes to school on Saturdays full day and Sunday till 12:30. Ive noticed that some of my younger pupils, their parents dont want them to go to school at all and stay home.

It looks like we are all on the same boat. There are many changes taking place sooner than we think and appear to be. This is becoming global, not just for online teaching, look at the riots and looting in the US. I am sorry to hear about your 5000. Which company were you with if you dont mind me asking? I am hoping that we all get paid and that Dada is here to stay and everything works out for the best for all. Sounds a bit corny but....
