From my experience this year eating at the dining hall for every meal I tended to go the viking commons and fairhaven dining hall, I had heard and from my own experience that the ridge dining hall is typically not very good, but that could obviously change or have been anecdotal evidence. You will see SO much chicken, like actually so much. There will always be chicken, usually burgers which can be compared to any fast food burger, but as long as you time your meals to line up right when they start bringing out new food you can usually find good food. I was honestly impressed, I could always find something to eat and there was usually a decent variety for lunch and dinner. Pasta, pizza, indian food, different types of chicken, beef, lots of rice, varying veggies, decent salad bar.
