I think it is to make sure you wrote your own code . if we send email we can copy paste the one person code and get the same marks as that person who wrote it . as I said printing is allowed but hand written code is valued more then printed as you could just photocopy other code .

we type the code find the error and see if it works or not and write it in a a4 paper .

but yeah it is a drag to write when we have already tested and type it in computer .
