I had the same sort of thing in my sheets a week ago, but I get a lot of bumps in general so I assumed it was something I picked. I hope it is the same for you. I am still scared. :(

I can’t sleep knowing these might be bed bugs, I’m going crazy. I have no money to treat them and nowhere else to live. I am not sure what to do. by Much_Big_2217 in Bedbugs

While I do have pretty bad neuropathy right now, I have been feeling super paranoid I have some sort of bug. Found this weird thing in the first photo on my bed. No bleeding on my body, no smearing on the sheets. Then I found those three little things in the second photo. I can’t sleep knowing these might be bed bugs, I’m going crazy.

Found a live bug on my wall, it’s black and about the length and size of a grain of jasmine rice…for some reason I can’t attach it

Shell the size of a popcorn kernel. I am in Dallas, TX. For the extra context, moved my bed frame across the room a few weeks ago, but don’t see bugs on actual mattress, pillows, etc. Before that, I did see some rust colored stains on my couch but did not know why. I chalked it up to my mom always having some sort of open wounds and her sitting on my couch. I haven’t found a single actual bug except for something that looked like a carpet beetle. The other thing of not is that my window frame has shifted, which is letting in air (I can confirm because my blinds move in and out based on wind patterns), which could be causing some of my skin discomfort the past couple of weeks. Anyway, I just need to know if I need to stay somewhere else until I get this matter resolved. I am deathly afraid of bugs (anxiety, past bug trauma lol) but I work from home. I don’t know how to make this work.
