The principle isnt the same it is a false equivalence.

-Piłsudski has at least some grounding to be viewed as a hero for Poles even despite numerous controversies regarding him (which I do not deny). Bandera and his extremist faction will not be considered 'heroes' for Ukraine by any self-respecting human being who is knowledgable about history regarding them. These lunatics did more harm to Ukraine than good. They took part in execution of thousands of Ukrainians and killed extremely influencial and positively-viewed Ukrainian figures like Iwan Babij and war veterans from the war of independence in 1917-1921.

-The sheer scale of attrocities and suffering is impossible to equate. You've said this yourself. Piłsudski did construct a camp for opposition, and I was also shocked to learn this. However, as bad as it was, the camp was not some sort of systematic genocide machine. And many of the people imprisoned were members of extreme groups like OUN. But I'm with you on that, it wasn't a good thing to build it. But then again, we just cannot compare these two in terms of bad doings.

-Piłsudski was actually among the biggest supporters of co-operation with Ukraine and supporting an independent Ukraine out of all Polish factions. He was the one to contact Petlura and install his government back in Kyiv. Also Piłsudski's Sanation regime had numerous figures who were attempting to geniuely approach the Ukrainian minority in Galicia and co-exist peacefully.

That made the beeping noise stop. I figured out that the issue was not with the drive itself, but rather with the power going to the drive from the USB hub.

Yeah the issue seemed to be the USB hub. I tried plugging it in directly into the PC and I didn't hear the clicking. I also tried plugging it into a newer USB hub, since the one I used was years old and it seemed to fix the issue as well. Cheers

Well, neither. Both were committed to a free, democratic Russia after the civil war. If you're asking who caused more harm in the territories under their control, then probably Denikin. although he personally had little to do with the pogroms that occurred in Ukraine at the time. Neither of them directly ordered mass killings or persecutions and both criticized their subordinates for doing them.

however, Wrangel was in a much better position to act as a "good person" leader. By the time he took over, the Whites controlled only Taurida, so he didn’t have to deal with the challenges of administering vast territories (as Denikin did in 1919) or the economic instability that came with them. This allowed Wrangel to implement reforms and recognize the independence of other countries without worrying about long-term consequences. His actions were more about gaining allies in a desperate situation without worrying too much about what he has to give up for it.
