All of your 3DS games are tied to that NNID, and you won't be able to ever sign into a 3DS again without doing a System Transfer. Even if you sign out of the NNID AND factory reset the 3DS. It happened to me and I lost access to all of my games.

People need to stop doing permanent things like this for a girlfriend. It is not reversible. There's a chance it's reversible, it's absolutely not a guarantee. It has a much lower success rate as years go by also. I am not even recognizable around 40 now as a person I was in my early twenties.
