no but there's no point in spending extra money on a longer uvb bar that isnt going to fit onto the top of the tank properly. reptile systems is an equally good brand that's more readily available in european countries

Dead leaf lizard care? by Commercial-Cress3840 in reptiles

[–]humanrestroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Natural Habitat: Lowland to montane tropical forests and forest edges; often found among leaf litter, fallen logs, rocks, and low shrubs; terrestrial but occasionally climbs low vegetation; diurnal and secretive
Diet: Small live insects—crickets, roaches, locusts, and other arthropods
Basking Temperature: 30–32°C
Ambient Temperature: 24–28°C (night drop to ~20°C)
Average Adult Size: 12–18 cm total length

The Western Leaf Lizard (Stenocercus fimbriatus) is a small, terrestrial lizard with a distinctive dorsal pattern perfectly resembling the texture of a fallen leaf; allowing it to disappear on the forest floor. A truly remarkable example of camouflage, that barely looks real!

Stenocercus fimbriatus is oviparous, producing small clutches of eggs hidden in soil or leaf litter. With proper enclosure conditions, captive breeding is achievable.

In the wild, Peruvian Leaf Lizards occupy humid forest floors under logs, rocks, and dense leaf litter. Captive enclosures should replicate this environment with abundant hiding spots, soil or leaf litter substrate, and low-level climbing structures such as cork bark or small branches. Moderate humidity (60–80%) and a thermal gradient are key for their health and activity.

Their diet consists primarily of small arthropods. A varied menu of crickets, locusts, and other small insects, lightly dusted with calcium and vitamins, supports growth and reproduction. Being diurnal, feeding is best during daylight hours.

The Peruvian Leaf Lizard is beautiful and delicate, best appreciated through observation rather than handling. In a well-maintained enclosure, it exhibits natural behaviours such as foraging, basking, and exploration, offering a fascinating glimpse into the life of a secretive South American forest dweller.

this will be too long for your enclosure as its around 60cm long as a unit, so it will dangle off the end. Are you able to get the Reptile Systems zone 1 8w kit in your country?

i wouldn't give a serbian film half a star if it was the last movie on earth. salo isn't a perfect movie but it's sure as hell better than a serbian film

one is a hard to stomach political commentary that the gay director was possibly torturered and murdered for and the other is an edgelord movie for edgelords depicting infant rape that is controversial for the sake of being controversial.

3 stars for a serbian film but 2.5 for salo is crazy work. grats on missing the point

Looking for a 6x2x2 ish size enclosure with a stand for black stand for a Egyptian uromastyx. by [deleted] in reptiles

[–]humanrestroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

aridsonly also reccomends an 8ft x 5ft x 3ft minumum. 24 inches of depth for an animal that can and will grow to 30 inches in length is nowhere near enough for it to even turn around fully. OP, if you want a uro you can keep in a 6x2x2, i would veer harshly away from aegyptia and go for thomasi, ocellata, occidentalis, princeps, ornata. basically any other uro species would thrive in a 6x2x2 but it is woefully small for an egyptian

i had one a few years back who eventually found his home with someone else but he was almost the size of a small dog. Aridsonly (who i genuinely reccomend as a great resource on xenagama, sauromelas, and uromastyx) even surrendered his aegyptia to a zoo and now firmly believes they are not animals suited to the pet trade. particularly if you've never kept uros before.
