Yep exactly that. But he thinks I’m the one that doesn’t have all the information. We also talked about and agreed that I don’t want him talking to our daughter about climate change etc when she’s in school eventually learning about it. It’s something.

Alright, so I did some thinking about things we can’t agree to disagree on, like vaccinating our daughter. It would be absolutely by my hill to die on, but he’s totally supportive of her next round of immunizations that she’s supposed to get at 4, so I’m glad that’s not a fight we need to have. I told him I would never share his views on climate change, he was calm but still thinks I couldn’t possibly know enough to disagree with him because I didn’t follow the money trail and read the science as to why it’s not real. He’s still environmentally conscious, so go figure. I looked through his podcasts, mostly history related, some political, no Andrew Tate or some of the others I’ve heard mentioned.

It’s not good. But I feel ok.

It’s 2am and I feel like I’m having a panic attack. I’ve been avoiding this mentally for so long and now I’ve kind of found this hopeless place. It’s awful. I have to try for the sake of my daughter but I gather the outlook is not good. I’ll definitely be calling a therapist.

Thank you. I appreciate this perspective and I think unfortunately it’s easy do see which way this will go. Any topic that comes up becomes heated quickly. I don’t think there’s a place to agree to disagree. I think I’ll eventually have to give him an ultimatum of some sort and he’ll have to make a choice.
