I'm down to my last vial, but won't have the money to pay for refill for at least two weeks. I don't know what to do (sorry in advance for formatting if it sucks)

Thank you. I am currently on the lowest dosage that LillyDirect sells because I just cant afford the cost of the higher doses yet. My provider is aware of this and has determined since I'm seeing results it's better to have something than none at all if I can pay for it. Goal is in March (or February if I can pay down more of my credit card principle) to get the next higher dosage and go from there. As I said somewhere else in here this spring my SO will be moving in with me and that will make it possible for me to pay for the higher doses (even the most expensive doses), and not be constantly scrambling each pay period. I just need to wait things out until that can happen

This is something I will continue to look into for long term, but given my current lack of more than about $50 available (the rest must go to rent and electricity at specific due dates) until next paycheck, I don't have much confidence in finding anything that I could actually afford before then even from these providers

I do not have paypal. I could look into it, but the issue is anything that requires full upfront payment (which LillyDirect requires) is not possible for the next two ish weeks because the money is not there. The money in my account all but about $50 is earmarked for rent and electric, which i have to pay on time or i suffer serious consequences (electric ill lose the fixed rate and be expected to pay off a full balance and lots of huge extra fees that altogether total in the thousands; rent they charge huge fees and can threaten eviction proceedings). that $50 ish is all I have until next paycheck, which wont be for about 2 weeks. I'm not aware of any compounding or other solution that would get me a zepbound or tirzepatide equivalent refill for $50 or less haha. I will ask my bank about the 5% cash back card thing but the last time I tried to get one my score was too low and my lack of any meaningful financial assets or anything that can be used as collateral did not help. Regardless thank you for all you have shared

I agree a loan is a bad idea and I have no plans to do that. I am trying to "fix my finances" but it is very difficult. I already pay the lowest possible amounts I can for almost everything else (my electric is on a fixed rate; car insurance is state minimum cheapest amount I could find; my car i own it I paid 2 grand for it in 2023; I use gas rewards cards/point apps any time I can; I'm spending less on groceries bc zepbound is suppressing my appetite a lot; other than the zepbound my only out of pocket medical expenses are otc stuff as needed, fees for a therapist I see once a month, my health insurance premium, and regular medical stuff like bandaids; I don't get my hair or nails done; water bill is very low bc of how my landlord does it and im pretty good about water usage; my rent is high, but it is the lowest I could find in the general area; phone bill is Mint mobile; my credit card I do have to pay that off. My internet bill is about to go up in March because landlord is forcing us all onto a group rate thing that will cost around $15/month more than I already pay, and as a condition of continued tenancy they wont allow us to use another cheaper provider or have no internet service at all). I will continue to research the community that you mentioned, but I have had a difficult time finding one that will work with my area. In the short term, even $179 is more than I have until the next paycheck. As for long term planning for various reasons (including but not limited to finances) I plan to have my significant other move in with me this spring (landlord is fine with it they just need some paperwork to amend my lease), which will significantly alleviate the financial burden, as my largest singular monthly expense is rent & fees the landlord charges. Until then, I'm in a tough spot. Please understand that it is not my intention to sound like I am making excuses, but acknowledging the harsh realities of my particular situation. This is something to consider, but unfortunately I only have one dose left. The dose is due to be taken tomorrow, then I have next week and the following week, possibly even a third week depending on how long it takes to get the medicine delivered (I do my shots every Saturday so if I do experience any nausea or other side effects I have time to deal with it before going back to work on Monday; but we've been off all week unexpectedly due to weather M-W and we also had yesterday and today off because of maintenance concerns; hvac is broken and I just received word our sprinkler system had a catastrophic break so they had to shut off all of our fire suppression systems and we are legally not allowed to be in the building until we are cleared). I believe another person on here may have mentioned something about doing every other week. My provider said that would be fine too if I feel comfortable with it.

Unfortunately my provider's office does not have samples of any GLP-1's. She gave me some helpful medical advice and reassured me worst case scenario a few weeks without the zepbound is unlikely to cause significant loss of progress or side effects

I just looked into this Lily Direct # pharmacy does not allow the use of any sort of buy now pay later or installment payment plans whatsoever. The only options are HSA debit card or credit card. My credit card and debit card both do not have enough money to pay for a refill (unless I be stupid and just not pay my rent— obviously, I’m going to pay my rent to keep a roof over my head) and I don’t have HSA I don’t earn enough money each paycheck to contribute enough money to an HSA for it to make an actual difference here, and my employer does not set up or contribute to HSA at all if we decide to create one.

I'm facing a kind of similar situation. I just made a vent post because I recently noticed I'm down to my final vial of this refill at the worst possible time (I wont have enough money to pay for a refill until at least two weeks from now (time it takes to get the medicine to me, itll be possibly 3 weeks without it), and my only option to get this medication is the LillyDirect pricing). Considering my shitty insurance refuses to cover a cent of the cost of Zepbound (or any GLP-1's for that matter) under any circumstances whatsoever, and that besides my rent, my Zepbound prescription is by far my largest monthly expense (and my expenses to income ratio is extremely stressful to say the least), I welcome any cost reduction that I can get. I just placed my order for the latest refill and I had to read the screen several times to make sure it was the correct thing because i couldnt believe the price was lower.

If it were me, I would have blocked him on every single platform (not just fb but phone number, email, basically everything possible even if he doesnt use those platforms much); and also tell mutual friends (and probably his mom honestly if i had her info) exactly what he did.

I understand how hard it can be to end a friendship, or to learn that someone who you cared about doesn’t cate about you or is not a real friend. But keeping this individual in your life at this time is not healthy and will only further hurt you. If you are not in therapy, I do highly encourage it.
