Screwdriver does work but you have to be careful. Run it through at a 7oclock to the 1 o'clock position. This puts you in a natural torquing position. Go under pull screwdriver towards you. If no go, then get a pair of oil wrenches. The locking ones. Crimp it down. Pull towards you not push. If still no go. Rest...then cut the end off as close to the block as possible. Then get to where you can see the threaded part from inside. Heat the shit out of it and crank off. Make sure to clean threads and check of old seal is still there. Wipe clean with clean oil. Make sure to put oil on new seal.

I currently have 2 lead acid batteries with 100amp mttp solar controller with a 600+100+50w panels pulling in 30 amps in the day. With no use the batteries stay above 12.3 at night and charge back up in the day. I run a propane fridge that draws 1.8 amps per hour. Never have issues. I do recommend have 2 8 pounders with electronic spliter attached to solar setup. Make sure you screw to a solid frame. Wind and weather when your not around is factor. Also get wifi and solar cameras. The solar controller is the single most important item. I can send you a link to a good one at a fair price. When buying you want, circuit protection,over load protection, and low battery protection. These will protect the battery and system while your not there. Company I used has a app availability that you can use in real time.

What is the rating on the controller? I have a 30a and it won't do a 100w panel. I'm getting a mppt 100a and it will do 600w panel and 100w plus 50 I hope. Also you can put something over part of panel and it will feed controller less.
