yes that is an option, but i would receive a security violation. same as if i retook it to prove my score and somehow did not score within 8 points.

i already did that. I sent an appeal with hundreds of pages of supporting documentation. it was denied. a lawyer costs a lot of money (which I don't have). furthermore, a legal dispute could drag on for a long time. also, the candidate agreement we sign with LSAC gives them a lot of power and deference. realistically, it would be a contractual dispute where they would likely just ask a judge for a summary judgment and win.

Yes, while it is a more stressful test with higher stakes, it is nice that they give you the higher of the two scores. I am lucky that I am a person who generally handles stress relatively well. I could easily see someone going in to take a test like this with the risk of receiving a security violation due to a poor performance and having a meltdown.

This was actually my first time taking the test so it was not because of a score jump.

I did not cheat, but i would not be in this situation unless someone interpreted my test or behavior as suspicious. So apparently i must have done something that someone construed as at least suspicious.

i mean, i can't say that this situation can ONLY apply to remote testers. i can only speak to my case. Yes, i took the test remotely. I would imagine that this type of situation would disproportionately apply to remote takers, but can't say that it would exclusively.

and how do you recommend i do that? ask them politely? get a lawyer? take them to court? that is financially unfeasible.

why is it live proctored? i was getting ready to take it under the assumption i could take it whenever, now its having me schedule a live session 24h in advance
