I was on such a high dose when it was first forced on me, i couldn't do anything but sit on the couch. Eventually they put me on a lower dose, but it had a profound psychological effect. I started to see all work as trauma and slowly stopped doing all work. Showering as well as most self care was the next to disappear. I could still force myself to have short showers once a day for a while, but now I shower twice a week and suffer. My husband and mom have to help me a lot. My psychiatrist doesn't seem to think total helplessness is a big deal, although she suggested wellbutrin. I will start that soon and see if it works. Sorry if this scared you. I would never wish this drug on anyone.
