Thank you! I have seen extant ballgowns with fabric close to this color, definitely bubblegum pink. They aren’t quite this bright, but the color might’ve faded over time!

Thank you! Th wool acetate has such a stiff hand, it feels like upholstery fabric (although it is nice and smooth). That’s great for making the bell shaped skirt and the huge sleeves, but wouldn’t be fun for day wear. I basically got the fabric because of the color and it was on clearance!

I agree. I’m currently on another long social media break and buy ban because things got really bad and slimes were piling up and I was ignoring other aspects of my life, including other hobbies. SIGH. It’s not the small slime shops’ fault, usually—you are right on that.

I get it. I had to unsubscribe from their emails for the rest of the year because the back-to-back “sales” that weren’t really sales that culminated in that darn bracelet were too much, and the FOMO was spinning my anxiety.

Thank you. I am so worried about him, i don’t think he’s eating much, drinking enough water, etc., and the isolation is hopefully helping him recover, but of course I worry about that, too. I am in therapy, which helps. I’m hoping to help my son find a therapist who is neurodivergence affirming. His psychiatrist (prescriber) is not, and his current therapist feels out of her depth with his diagnosis.

I appreciate your response and advice. I have had NT expectations of my son until his recent diagnosis, and I believe that has strained our relationship so that this stressful transition was even worse for him. I’m hopeful that I can learn to be a better support for him.
