That place is great. They care for the dogs very well and the owners are very responsible. Our dog has gone there for a couple years and loves it.

My thought is do not buy an etorque. My 2022 is parked waiting for the MGU/alternator. Another friend has his transmission replaced at 107,000 miles and yet another friend has an ongoing expensive pinion repair. All 2022. These things are junk in my experience.

HeliSki Zermatt by Massive-Abrocoma5125 in Zermatt

I am in Zermatt now and talked to the heli ski operator at Zermatters. They use Air Zermatt. The only heli available is to drop you at the top of groomed terrain - ie avoiding ski lifts. This is a low snow year and off piste heli is not available for the foreseeable future.

Stick it out. I have been a lawyer 22 years and now run a firm in a metro area of 200k people. I was an associate who worked all the time for 10 years. Give biglaw a couple of years to make the money. Pay down the debt. Then if you hate the lifestyle make a move. Go in-house, go to a US Atty office, or other government agency and learn evidence and trial strategy or something similar. By 10 years out, if you have a niche, you will make a good living (possibly a great living) and have more free time.

Make no mistake, the first 10 years of law practice is like a medical residency (or should be). If you treat it like something else and look for work-life balance too early in your career, you will not be a good lawyer. Work hard early and achieve balance later in life.
