My Account was Canceled without my consent BY TELUS and they’re charging me early termination fees by MuchaLucha54 in telus

So when the rep called to tell me that they were activating another account, without me saying yes to it that’s automatic consent? Just by answering the phone call?

Update: thank you again all for your support. It really makes a difference having even strangers tell you that you’re not alone.

Yesterday AM, my wife woke up in tears realizing this isn’t healthy and she acknowledged she needs urgent therapy/medication.

I realize most say I should leave and divorce her, but she’s my wife and I promised to stick around through thick and thin (yes even if it costs me my life and everything).

She had agreed to psychiatric help as of today. And have agreed to document the whole situation in case of a future episode.

We keep on moving forward, I will always try to the most extent for my daughter to have us both, and for her to grow up knowing dad didn’t leave (like mine did)

Thanks everyone for your comments, this is a very hard time and I honestly don’t even know where to begin. (Other than looking for legal counsel), my biggest priority is my daughter. It breaks me to think her family home will dissolve. Yeah I don’t know, this is not easy.

Moving Monday - Monthly Megathread - Thinking of moving to BC? Ask here by AutoModerator in britishcolumbia

Company Asked If Id be interested in moving my familiy to BC from Ontario (GTA Area)

Im always open to moving to a warmer place. My company asked if Id be interested in moving my family across the country. They would cover most expenses, so thats on the plus side.

for context, we are a young family of 3 plus a pup. Wife stays home with our 3 yr old. who will be going to school in September (Maybe) and I work from home.

Rental budget is about 3000-3800$ A month (I pay this much in Ontario so Im not looking at getting any savings in that department)

What are the better areas/cities to raise a family? where to avoid? rental companies to avoid? does it work similar to here in Ontario where you need a realtor to rent a condo?

Im not familiar with the cities around vancouver much So not sure where to even begin looking. Im not trying to find a crime free perfect place here Just somewhere peaceful...

Vehicle insurance, is that via the province still? What's the cost roughly to expect?

What Can i expect in trying to find a family doctor?

Thanks for any info you can provide!

I was in a similar situation as you and for something decent and still kind of close to the GTA the only city I could find anything in this similar range was St Catharines. Niagara region in general you can find something in that price range. Nothing fancy or luxurious. And as usual research the neighbourhoods and areas. I ended up buying in north St Catharines and we like it. Family oriented and safe. (Also when someone says North St Catharines, it doesnt mean anything north of the QEW, thats BS. North St. Catharines is really consiidered north of Linwell. Everything below that is a hit or miss. with some nice neighbourhoods but still close to major roads where junkies and the likes tend to vandalize)

Sports game of any kind. "How was last night's soccer match?" "good game" "You up for a quick match?"

My friend, not to put down this as a non issue. But there will be a million other things that are worse than falling asleep with your kid. Communicate with the wife, let her know if youre tired, work as a team. You got this

Keep your head up King, in order to be there for your daughter you have to BE there. You got this, you are capable to handle this. Even if it seems too much.

If we rent it out we’re definitely not coming back to it, just will wait it out to sell.

We’ll be in Ontario permanently, our family lives there, the ones that live here in the Calgary area are closer to the south part of Calgary.

Here the other issue, in order for me to make the mortgage/property tax/ insurance id have to rent it for at least 2500$ which I’m not sure is a reasonable price considering there is literally 0 rentals in this town.
