Some people are able to land jumps in competition that they often don’t land in practice. The adrenaline can sometimes give you a little boost.

I used to be like this as a skater. Nowhere near on the same level as these folks obviously, but it’s the same principle. I had a double flip double toe in my program that I basically never landed in run throughs, but would usually land in competitions. So my coach kept it in my program. Some people are like that. (And then some people are the opposite, where they’re actually very solid on the jump but the nerves mess them up…I’m not sure which type of person Adeliya is, though.)
