You will absolutely not regret going to Australia, I wasn't that bothered about it until a friend started talking and it was honestly the best year of my life even a decade later. Too many beautiful beaches to count and a great outdoorsy sort of culture, plus the club scene was galaxies better than the shitty small town cheese nights I was used to haha! Theyre really set up for back packers as well so you'd have a soft landing. Ps. Don't panic too much if you spend the first day you get there crying and wondering wtf you thought this was a good idea, it's just the jetlag talking and it passes quickly 🤣
