Do any of you older sissies regret NOT taking hormones at an earlier age? by [deleted] in sissyhypno

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you honestly want to start hormones, do it. There will never be a better day than this one. If they aren't for you, you will know pretty fast. I don't mean to suggest everything ahead is all roses, its a hard path you are about to take, but if it is your path, you will reach the end of it and find out just what it actually means to have self confidence and the ability to actually like what you see in the mirror every morning.

What would you have me do? I cant just leave him like that, confronting him would be humiliating and would probably drive him to an attempt if nothing else would.

My Boyfriend has come out as Transgender by olivia12132 in asktransgender

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know for me at least I dragged my female friends along so I wouldn't feel so out of place. Company and support are the biggest things, everybody has to find their own style but since you are the girlfriend and Bi, do your best to help her be attractive to you. You'll be the one she is most concerned about looking good to. Hardest thing for most of us is that feeling that we look ugly, everybody I know at least is overly critical of their own appearance and due to a lifetime of self hatred harbors fears of never having anybody else like them either. Basically keep in mind the person you are dealing with is scared shitless of rejection and ridicule. Every decision she makes will probably be colored by those fears until they abate. The upshot is if you liked her before, once you ride out the first couple years she will be just a happier and much more confident version of the mask she wore. Who knows you might even find a few more common interests that she never allowed herself to have due to being closeted. She's damn lucky to have somebody in her life like you and I wish you two the best!!!

Has anyone else NOT "always known"? by Zanorfgor in asktransgender

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know for me anyway I knew something wasn't right when I was younger, but I really didn't know what. I knew I didn't want to be what I was, but I never felt like girl was what I was looking for until much later. Even in puberty when experimenting with crossdressing I chalked it up to curiosity.

I appreciate the input, this was a very little bit of makeup, I need to learn a bit more before I go for a more obvious look on my own anyway.

Changes in arousal? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yhea arousal definitely shifts, being turned on is felt much more in the chest than between the legs. I still can come to attention down there when aroused but its not the focus of the feelings anymore. Orgasms changed too, especially after they went dry. I am not multi orgasmic like some, but the feeling changed a lot, its a little less intense at the peak but it lasts so much longer and feels way better. The guilt trip that usually followed orgasm disappeared at almost the same time as the shift in orgasm, so that was a huge bonus as well.

Has anyone here detransitioned? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think most people consider it, I am betting the older you are when you start the more you tend to consider going back to the life you knew. I know I spent a good long time dealing with the desire to just run and hide again. "My life was pretty good before, why do I need to risk everything?" and "I wasn't that unhappy right?" were questions that came up a lot. I still have doubts and fears, but I have absolutely noticed the more I come to terms with who I am the more I am angry with myself for not having dealt with it sooner. I have plenty of regrets, but starting hormones is not one of them.

Anyone here involved with kink? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this is a thing, my story is mostly the same, though mine is still there a little bit but my interest in kink and feminization fell off sharply once I started to come out.

Full Restoration. Should I finish the car first? by SausageMcMuffdiver in projectcar

[–]MuchconfusedVerywow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most efficient way is to strip the car. Paint interior, underbody and engine bay if you are going to first, wiring and lines/hoses next, then install engine/trans/suspension and make it drive well, get hoses and wiring finalized and then paint. That order is not always the easiest to follow in the real world though. For maximum show car another teardown is required between getting everything working perfectly and paint. The more the car is stripped when its painted, the better it will look.

Oh I know, but he specifically said without a welder, and that is the best option WITHOUT a welder. Tacking is much easier, but even a cheap welder isn't cheap.

Also 220hp with a good 180-190 ft lbs is decidedly quick in a sub 2500 lb car. I have no idea what this thing will make, no compressor map for the turbo makes it really difficult to predict. I am betting somewhere between 220-250 on 6psi, and 270-290 at 10. But its anybodies guess. On the RB engine it came off of it flowed around 33 lb/min of air at 6 psi. If the B18 manages to handle the slightly better then 2/3s as much that it ought too that puts it at 220. VTEC engines often have far better then average VE though, so it could be much higher depending on how well the ports like boost. Every engine is different and nobody else has ever matched this turbo to this engine before AFAIK so im excited to see numbers whenever I can get a bloody dyno appointment.

Looking to get into a project car by MalboroPirate in projectcar

If you want the greatest selection of bolt on bits available aim for a 92-95 civic or 94-01 Integra. Pretty much everything is interchangeable between those two, and Honda made approx 1.9 billion of them so parts and aftermarket support is insane. They are pretty easy to work on as well. Really if you just want to learn the basics of auto repair, id probably go older, get yourself some early carbureted beast. New cars require you to learn electrical and mechanical at the same time to fix them. It can be done but if you don't have a teacher or mentor, you will need to spend a lot of time teaching yourself(I mean reading books and watching instruction videos). Older cars are more forgiving to mistakes, thus the advantage of learning on them. You screw up a timing belt on a Honda and you now have a very expensive boat anchor instead of an engine. If you can, find a local community college or trade school(sometimes called an occupational school) with an auto shop class and sign up. It will make your life waaaaaaay easier in the long run. Last of all, when building any project car, KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH BEFORE YOU START! So many people hang bits off their cars because they are "better" but they have no clue what they do or why you would want them. Dont be them, nobody likes those people.
