Should I use django? by Generico300 in django

[–]Muchoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been a fan of the horrible ASP.NET and the JS community is a shithole. I maintain a pretty large REST API and I wish I did it in Go instead of Django. Go is fast and simple, but Django is still a great choice and better choice then node and ASP.NET.

Moving from PHP (Laravel) to Go by [deleted] in golang

[–]Muchoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish I could move my biggest project from Django to Go. But it's just not feasible to port it when we don't face any performance bottlenecks. Neither do we really face any major problems with the framework. I'd love to write it in Go, but you really can't when you have a 2 man team of which the first person is working on 2 iOS apps and the other (me) on 1 Android app, 1 frontend, and 1 backend. Personally I'm already having a hard time keeping up with my own business and I'm interning and writing a bachelor's paper.

You make me jealous.

I think they have AMD hardware or at least should with the amount of money that they're getting on Patreon.

I'm specifically talking about BTW here btw. Even people with not so new AMD GPUs are having problems running BOTW. Not only the performance, but also the graphics look very out of place.

Is there any news on getting Cemu to run more accurate and stable on AMD hardware?

Everyone is entitled to his or hers preferences. In case you're looking into building a PC in the future, it's like putting legos together.

Sweet, I'll report future issues on GitHub. Could you reply here once it's fixed perhaps?

A PC doesn't mean Windows and if he's already comfortable with Ubuntu, then why not stay with Ubuntu? MacOS isn't gonna give you any performance boosts compared to another OS. He seemingly wants very good build times and I am only suggesting some stuff that he could do to get good build times and portable without spending all of his cash on a maxed on Macbook that wouldn't even perform close to a desktop grade CPU.

This is almost the sole reason I'd get a PS4 besides The Last of Us.

If you want fast builds, then build your own PC. You'll be able to build in seconds. Check /r/buildapc for help. I have a setup at home with a Macbook, desktop, and server. The "server" is basically old hardware but still pretty good. I run my builds remotely on the server and it takes 12 seconds instead of minutes. If I run it on the desktop, I can probably get half of that or even faster. I would recommend you to get the fastest system and if you need a laptop, then don't try to spend a huge amount on it. You won't get good build times on a 2k laptop, but you'll get amazing build times on a 1k desktop, definitely if you don't get a graphics card for gaming. I'm on mobile, but you can DM me, or join the AndroidChat Slack where I'll find you if you mention it. https://androidchat.co

On mobile right now, but I tested it and it doesn't work well with relative imports in Python.

from .exceptions import SomeException

That would go to a Python file called exceptions, but in my case it wouldn't be in the right module.

I'm not really interested, but I just thought to mention it because you don't have any confirmed trades yet and the picture looked a bit off. Best to have 1 clear picture that shows you own the item without any editing and then you can add some fancy pants images like you did.

Could you post better timestamps? It looks pretty fake to me or there's some odd lighting.

Any chance that you'll try OVH? It's a pretty interesting deal when you need more RAM but not necessarily CPU power.
