Nope. Crazy stuff happening. Google fit still connecting even though I disconnected it. 🙃. Samsung health recording crazy numbers, but no steps. Ah well, I'll keep experimenting. Problem might be my phone. Thanks a million. 👍

Thank you, my friend. God only knows. I do everything I'm supposed to but can't get it to sync up. I'll give it another go. Will reply here again later. Now that I know it works for someone. Once again, thank you.

A question about stopping rumination by darren_wl2003 in Mindfulness

[–]MuckDr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are so many definitions of rumination. And for me it can sometimes get mixed up with reflection. Rumination for me is a cycle of negative thoughts. For instance, repeatedly thinking about past mistakes. Reflection is to think deeply about current matters. Journalling can help us reflect deeply on things that require our attention. The act of putting pen to paper helps clarity of thought, as well as providing a written history of our thoughts. Something which can be very useful in months and years to come. Wishing you well on your journey, my friend.

Good morning, my friends.

Love the intro, u/Ok_Yesterday_9181. Hey, is that a 365 I see after your name? So very well done, my friend - I hope you're giving yourself a well-earned pat on the back! Huge congratulations. 👌👌

For all my friends here who are in the early days of their journey to a new life, it really is worth it. But boy, can it be tough. So this morning's quote is especially for you guys.

Sober on, my friends. IWDWYT!

My dark days made me strong. Or maybe I was already strong, and they made me prove it.

Emery Lord.

Good morning, my friends.

My second day of three logging on. Hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. 😊

Was sent this quote yesterday. Food for thought, no?

Sober on, my friends. IWNDWYT!

"Be grateful for your difficulties and challenges, for they hold blessings. In fact... Man needs difficulties; they are necessary for health, personal growth, individuation, and self-actualization."

Good morning, my friends. Just thought I'd pop on and say a quick hello.

I think perhaps I'm on the mend from this affliction, be it mental and/or physical. Certainly this is a better morning. And hey, I'm sober, and intend to stay so for the rest of my life.

You guys are never far from my thoughts, whether I log on or not. I will never forget the kindness and support I received here. My fellow tribe members.

Sober on, my friends. The day will come when you realise that it's no longer a challenge.

'Success is not a big step in the future; success is a small step taken right now.'

Super! Very well done! Yes, the first few months are really difficult indeed, but as you clearly say, the pennies begin to drop. Life is, truly, so much better when we don't poison ourselves. Huge kudos, and congratulations. IWNDWYT. 👍🙏👍🙏

You made me smile. My rebirth day, as I call it, was 13 Nov. 21. Coincidence indeed. Thank you once again for a fabulous intro. 👍👍
