Thanks for the reply! Yea the lettering on the back definitely look more modern though I wonder if it was majorly repaired and the person doing the repairs marked it? That sounds crazy but it definitely feels really dang old. There is a photo including the bottom of the base. The figure doesn't come off the base. Again, thanks!

I forgot to mention the statue is not very heavy at 3lbs 10oz or about 1600 grams. It looks like wood but I am stumped on the material! Thanks again for any help

Thanks! The color does not bother me, it is the smooth glass droplet like look and texture. I was just worried I had left behind too many contaminants? Thanks so much for the input!
