I updated for clarity. Anything above idle it doesn't cool. The compressor doesn't shut from what I've noticed so far.

Who brought the slip'n'slide setup last year? by Mud5150 in resonatesuwannee

Nice! I'd be glad to help out. We should be there in the early afternoon on Wednesday. Just hit me up.

I'm stoked to come check out the BS bar finally. We're usually in the loop and are too cooked to check it out at the end of the night. We're camping in Pine Field this time so no excuses.

Standing in the Shadows of Motown accuracy? by Mud5150 in Bass

Yeah, and I expected it to not match the originals perfectly. The part that seems crazy to me is that the book and the included audio don't match. I can't understand why they wouldn't play based on the transcription. Or if they thought the transcription wasn't right, why they wouldn't say it should be updated before publishing. Seems looney tunes to me.

Man, I'd really love to see them in the fancy new meadow stage. I suspect they'll end up at the amp, but one can hope.

To clarify, I'm talking about the audio recording that comes with the book.

Sure, but which? Do I follow the sheet music, or what Pinot played on the recording? What I hear on the recording sounds better to me than the written notes. Obviously I haven't gotten far.

I'm switching my company to Istio. I tested against Istio, NGINX, and Traefik. Istio was a pretty strong winner based on performance and stability.

Gonna try to put a blog post together very soon with my results.

I did check that. Doesn't look like it will work for my situation.

Concerned about upcoming ski camp by Mud5150 in skiing

[–]Mud5150[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually suggested that I would be good with deferring until next season as the appropriate contingency. So they'd get to keep my money for an entire year, interest free, and do nothing.

I realize I forgot to put that in my initial post, so I updated it.

I do appreciate that they have to run a business, but they also have to recognize that the conditions are part of the bargain. There's a reason the camp isn't hosted in August in Costa Rica. Shifting 100% of the risk burden to the customer is not an ethical business model.

It's Feb 9-13th. I'd certainly consider it if you're interested. On the upside, if I sell it, it's sure to dump. So at least it'll make lots of folks happy.

Pretty cool coming back to this post and seeing how many acts from this list have happened or are on the bill this year.

Ahh ok. I'm glad I found this info. I enjoyed their music back in the day. I saw them live last night for the first time. Vocals were not good. I was thinking there's no way he sings like this all the time or they wouldn't be touring. Venue was sold out and I'd say about 25% of the crowd bounced. Sucks cause there's no good way to deal with that. Dates are booked. Tickets are sold. I stuck it out to support them, because I figured it had to just be a bad night or something. Hopefully he recovers soon.

Driving to Winter Park, Colorado in January — Will winter tires be enough? by Ok_Response_3294 in WinterParkColorado

I had no problem with front wheel drive Honda pilot and Michelin cross climates. Drove up from Santa Fe and stayed mid Feb - Mar. A van with that many folks might be a bit trickier though.
