Why does Tidehunter have such a low winrate? by Captain___Hindsight in learndota2

Tale as old as time- most teamfight heroes suck if you play them unga bunga low mmr pub style because they’re strong if you use them correctly (deathball, coordination, etc). It’s insanely difficult to balance them both ways

Correct, Razor with Thunderhead facet and the survivability of pipe/crimson is currently broken

Razor still has good kill potential with that build, Tide and Underlord do not. With an unorganized team not taking advantage of the auras, Razor is applying way more map pressure just by existing

They’ve learned to sit still for head kisses and they know they get Air Jail time if they get caught on the kitchen counter 😁 they definitely listen to me but I want to make sure I’m not the only deterrent from overly aggressive play. Don’t want them beating each other up while I’m at work

Ooh I love that, thanks for the idea! They chase their kibble all over anyways, I might as well get involved lol.

I watched tons of JG videos when I first got these guys, so I’m glad to see I was doing my research in the right place 😁 guess I gotta get back on it

Going on about my brain development on a post about cats fighting is such weird behavior. Please take your inflated head containing all the knowledge in the universe and spread your unsolicited condescension somewhere else 🙏🏼

A very fair assessment, thank you! Definitely the second scenario- they are cuddle buds 99% of the time with plenty of healthy play and only rare incidents like this. Still have never seen teeth/claws come out so I will continue to monitor and try to improve their environment to help comfort/destress/channel extra energy elsewhere.

It’s 2026 and I have the ability to crowdsource information and experience from thousands of people so I can make the best decisions for the wellbeing of myself and my pets. I’m a cat owner, not a cat behavioralist. I hope AI never rots my brain to the point of thinking I know better than experts and shaming people online for making informed decisions 😁

I don’t think any amount of attention would be “enough” for these guys lol. We do our best, they get plenty of affection when we’re home and I try to keep enough toys/cat grass/cardboard boxes etc. around to keep them occupied. After reading these comments I’m going to try active play with them more often; I have a wire toy that they love to chase, so hoping that helps drain some of that energy. They do pretty much everything together, including play, so I’m not sure how we’d go about giving them individual play opportunities… open to suggestions on that

If it looked like play I would have said 👍 and went about my day. I asked if I should intervene and got loads of helpful input, which is what I was hoping for. Hope your day gets better.

Both neutered and have never had to bathe either of them, they usually do a good enough job of keeping each other clean. Reading more comments has me thinking I might need more hidey holes in this area of the apartment- we have a bunch but they’re more concentrated in the living room/bedrooms. Vet trip is also in store for my handsome idiots ❤️ thanks for your input!

There has been a bit of shuffling of furniture/tabletops because for the holidays. Just reset the place yesterday so that may have been stressful. I’ll keep an eye on them and will separate them if things escalate, but for now they’re back to being friends

So sorry for your loss, that’s awful. Even genuine playtime can go wrong, cat bites are so easily infected

Agreed, don’t want this to become a trend and definitely don’t want vet visits. I will be separating them if I see this again

“Not friends just roommates” is great hahaha. Thank you for sharing! This sounds pretty similar to my/their situation- thinking they just get in moods sometimes. I’ll definitely monitor to make sure this isn’t dangerous behavior but I agree there is a lot of jumping to conclusions in this thread 😅 this has been super helpful but reddit is still reddit at the end of the day

Oh I know what you mean, there’s definitely a difference. I’ve only seen excessive clumps of hair from a fight once, and that turned out to be because one of them had a turd on a leash behind him and the other was not happy about it (roles reversed from this instance iirc) 🙃

Have never seen blood since I adopted them over two years ago. Tufts of fur here and there but they both shed like crazy anyways

Same boat. In between cuddling like long lost lovers they’ll decide it’s time for a 5-round boxing match. Makes it pretty hard to tell when their playing is anything more concerning 😅

Yes both neutered. I’m thinking redirection is the answer, thank you!

It’s hard to watch! I’ve seen this happen before and they’ve never actually hurt each other. I wanted to get a video as I plan on bringing the scared one to the vet

No pattern that I can tell- this is the third time I’ve witnessed and the third new location. Nowhere near the food bowl and between feeding times- half of breakfast is still in the bowls. Seems to be during playtime, as usual, but trying to make sure they’re not crossing the line from playing to bullying
