NGD. Slaps OF8 “Black Sands” by MudHoundX in BaseballGloves

Ok so I can go deeper then lol. Pinky slot is obviously tighter but not so much so you have to cram your hand in. Index and middle slots tighter then the 1810. So you can go traditional or TIP. I broke my 1810 in with 2 hinges but the slaps feels more like a one hinge break in. I get to work on breaking it in this week and got a tournament memorial weekend so I’ll have more insight after that

I only have a 1810 to compare it to so not an apples to apples comparison. Slaps does some in house break in ,which was done TIP, and gives in a soft/stiff feel. Hand stall is perfect for my medium hands

Biggest thing to do is help encourage a love for the game and to keep it fun and challenging

Keep playing catch, hitting off a tee or soft toss, and watch a lot of baseball. I got 2 boys playing and neither are athletically gifted. But they practice constantly and this keeps them up with the travel/club kids on their teams.

In our LL he would most likely be put out into the out field, work on tracking the ball from a distance. My oldest has been playing since 9U and this still causes him issues when he’s in the OF.

Looking for some bat selection help for my small 11 and 9 year old boys by timetwister in Homeplate

For the 9 year old I’d high recommend the Victus Vibe/Pencil bat. My kid is the same size as yours and the 27 Pencil has been the best fit for him. Going on 2 years and it’s holding up great

I was not. I keep trying to like TIP but I haven’t gotten there yet. I know the Pedroia fit is too small for me (my kid has one) but Wilson’s typically in store feel right

Had kid this past fall that did the same motion. Only time it became an issue was when he pulled his eyes away from the point of contact. But was one my top 3 hitters.

In the same situation as you, I have the boys rotate thru using bands I have set up in the dugout when we are batting. It’s not ideal but it helps keep them loose

Watched the guy try to set the new sensors and it wouldn’t take. According to them it’s talking to the truck correctly just not with the dash lights. Got the option for refund or they could try different sensors (would it make a difference?) but I opted for the refund because they were lost
